The Zombies
About this Signature Line
The Zombies are the speed fowls in the farm. The current make up of this bloodline came from 4 black fowl bloods.
My dream is to maintain the ones that are giving me the elusive blackface because of the crosses I made. The black face came mostly from the Bates and Melsims black blood. The other 2 blood infusion are Mcraes and Sids both of which are red face.
The Zombies has a fairly good performance in the farm. They do win on their own as pure but makes good crosses too. They add vigor and speed when added to Greyblades, Rednecks and lately I breed them with the imported Daredevil Whitehackle to produce the new line I call Peppers.
Zombies are very feisty and fast which is what I love about them. Recently, I also used this blood to create another experimental cross I call Razors from a GreyBlade over Zombie Redneck hen mating. The result is very promising.
Because of this, Zombies will definitely here to stay in the farm for infusion and crossbreeding.
